Congratulations to Richard Yeoman from Ashburton Celtic who has been selected for the New Zealand Marist Colts Southern Region Tour - 2008. Each year there is a New Zealand Marist (NZM) Colts squad selected to tour. The team is made up of one player representative from each of the 28 clubs and invitation players from Marist clubs in Samoa, Fiji, Tonga and from the Brother's Clubs in Brisbane and Sydney.

This year the team tour begins in Wellington, travels across the Cook Strait for its second game against a Tasman Development team, down the West Coast for a match against a West Coast Development team and finally across the Southern Alps to meet the Christchurch Marist Colts.

Well done to Ashburton Celtic's Jamie Whitcombe who has also been picked to play for the New Zealand Marist XV vs Romania XV 2008. The game will be played on the 6th September in Auckland.
